Learn the art of basic cake decorating in this private, one-on-one class in Jess’s home. Level up your baking skills and take home real-life skills that can be applied to your every day and special occasion cake creations.
Learn how make a creamy vanilla buttercream from scratch, use ready made cakes to stack your layers correctly with a ganache filling. Apply a crumb coat and scrape until smooth to create your cake foundation.
Learn chocolate techniques while mastering a ganache drip and applying it to your top iced layer. and fondant work by creating decorations and a figurine.
Finish your cake creation with sprinkles and pipe ruffles around the top edge.
Take your cake home in a secure cake box along with the buttercream, cake & ganache recipe.

Kids weekly baking Classes
A beginners baking class for kids who enjoy being in the kitchen and wish to extend their experience and skill set!
These classes will help indiviguals gain confidence in the kitchen, bakers will be able to apply their skills at home.
Offering techniques in baking preparations in both sweet and savoury. Measuring, mixing, recipe reading, appliance use & lots more! Recipies are included along with a denim apron, baking kit and recipe folder to take home each week along with their baked goods.

Chocolate caramel pretzel brownie
Loaded chocolate brownie with a Creamy caramel drizzle, topped with salted pretzels & bunny moulds
Shrewsbury cookies
Cut-out sugar cookies, sandwiched with a jam filling
Homemade pizzas
Create a pizza dough from scratch, roll, shape and layer your mini rounds pizzas with a range of toppings and bake untol golden.
Raspberry & chocolate sponge coconut Lamingtons
Baked light Sponge cake, squared & dipped in Raspberry & chocolate topping dusted with coconut.
Carrot Cake cupcakes & cream cheese frosting
Moist carrot cake muffins topped with a smooth cream cheese frosting and hand made fondant carrot toppers.
Savoury pinwheel scrolls
Master a scone recipe from scratch, roll out and layer with topping ready to bake and take home.
Lemon & passionfruit cheesecakes cups
Crumbed malt base layered with a rich cheesecake mousse, lemon curd and a passionfruit. Topped with chocolate cards and edible flowers.
Marshmallow slice
Biscuit base with layered marshmallow topped either a chocolate ganache.
Filo quiches & rolled lolly cake
The last class is both a savoury and sweet class. Fill filo pastries with a cheesy quiche filling & prepare a lolly cake roll to take home and slice.

While these are for beginners, they are more complex than the kids classes. Experience a detailed baking class where you will learn the basic fundamentals in creating quality baked goods. Aimed at adults who would like to gain confidence in their home kitchen and widen their knowledge in baking techniques.
This is a social and interactive way of learning baking skills and a great opportunity to do something for yourself!
These run on a weekly day either in the morning or evening during the Term.
Classes are held in a local cafe.
